Hello,
I have been trying to cancel my account for over 6 months.
I was told that there was a service charge to cancel even though I have sold my house. I am now as an option trying to switch my service to my mother's house - she would then cancel her existing Rogers Account and replace with mine. We were told this can only be done with an in-person visit to a store.
On a May 21 visit to the Uxbridge store we were then told we can only do this via a phone call to the customer service - I swear..... Kwaza was her name in store. I swear you cannot make this up. I now, and still paying for Rogers Home Phone, Internet and TV for a house I do not live in. Please help make this make sense to me.

You need to call or chat in to transfer your service. As long as your mother isn’t on a plan, there shouldn’t be a problem, but, then again, it is Rogers…

She has no plan. Can cancel anytime. Again, this is 6 months in the making here
